A
professional member of the International Interior Design Association
(IIDA), and a registered interior designer in Connecticut, Maria
Zawadzki has twenty six years of project experience in an array
of contract design projects. In 1987, Ms. Zawadzki established H2Z
Design LLC, providing comprehensive interior design services to
the corporate, educational and retail industries of Connecticut.
Between 1997-2001, Ms. Zawadzki was an adjunct instructor at Paier College
of Art for second year design students in various studios.
In
1993, Ms. Zawadzki consulted to Jeter, Cook & Jepson Architects
in Hartford, CT. While at JCJ, she provided interior design consultation
on the following projects: LEGO Systems U.S. Headquarters Building;
R.C. Knox and Company, Inc.; Constitution Plaza Buildings ; Coopers
& Lybrand.
Prior to the founding of H2Z Design LLC, Ms. Zawadzki was the head
of interior design services at Ambrose Associates, an architectural
firm in Hartford, where she served as Project Manager and Designer
for numerous speculative office building projects.
From 1980 through May of 1984, Ms. Zawadzki started her career with
Advent Design Inc., a Hartford interior design firm where she was
involved on projects, including: The Stanley World Headquarters
Building ; Waterbury Hospital ; American Bank; Gerber Scientific
Products; New London Courthouse; and the Farmington Library.
